Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering program is a four-year program. The duration of the BS Civil Engineering Program is the 4 years which is divided into 8 semesters (two semesters each year). The first two semesters include two major courses math’s and physics and provides the Basic knowledge of civil engineering. In the second year of the BS program, students are invited to select a specialization. BS Civil Engineering program provides the basic knowledge of principles of Engineering deals with the planning, designing, maintenance and constructing buildings, bridges, Dams, high-sky buildings, sports stadiums, railways, tunnels, airports, factories, flood control, water supply and sewerage disposal schemes, roads, Hospitals and many more.
BS Civil Engineering course is recognized by the Higher Education Commission HEC and Pakistan Engineering Council PEC. All the universities which are recognized by the HEC and PEC provide admission to BS Civil Engineering program. BS Civil Engineering is 4 years regular basis program. It is not enough for aspirants to have an engineering degree or engineering skills. To deal with clients, contractors and consultants effectively civil engineers must develop communication skills. Universities offer courses like communication, Professional Ethics contribute in BS Civil Engineering program to make their students a professional engineer.
