Goals of 500 STFS Scholarships 2023

The project has been conceived by Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) under the “Pakistan Vision 2025” program of the Government of Pakistan. Initially, an amount of PKR: 15,000/- month was allocated under the Public Service Development Program (PSDP) by the Ministry of Planning, Development, and Reform (MoPDR) for “The Science Talent Farming Scheme (STFS)”. The scheme was envisioned to be implemented through the collaborative effort of relevant existing institutions and Science enthusiasts in the public and private sectors. The main goals of STFS are;

1. Attracting youth towards Science in the early years of education.
2. Developing a competitive knowledge economy through value addition.
3. Improving the quality of Science and technology education particularly in the Natural Sciences and Mathematics for students of Govt schools.

Eligibility Criteria for 500 STFS Scholarships 2023

Students who can pass the 10th class examination in 2023 from government-run schools are qualified to apply. Students need to have a minimum score of 60% marks overall and 70 percent scores in (4) Science subjects. Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science Physics, Chemistry along with Mathematics. Attested documents of the Matric/SSC Result Card B-Form and residence certificate of the student or father’s residence must be attached. Proof of the government-run school has to be provided. Private semi-government, government or other kinds of schools are not considered eligible following the PC-I guidelines of STFS.

1. A certified copy of the result card for SSC or Matric should be attached. A certified copy of the CNIC/B Form.
2. Copy of the attested Domicile (his/her residence is required.
3. However, the father’s residence is accepted only to facilitate the examination).
4. Two recent color photos (passport size).Original paid copy of the deposit slip. vi.
5. Forms that are incomplete or contain False or incorrect information are rejected.
