With an aim of providing self-employment opportunities to the educated youth of the province, the Chief Minister of Punjab, Mian Shehbaz Sharif had launched a Apna Rozgar scheme during 2022 under which several thousand vehicles will be distributed. For this purpose, the Apna Rozgar scheme draw was held on 8^th, 9^th and 10^th January, 2022 in which the names of this scheme beneficiaries were selected randomly via a computerized ballot system.

As per announcement made by the official department, a total 152,478 applications for Rozgar Scheme 2022 were submitted by the interested applicants which are a lot more as compared to the previous scheme. This clearly reflects the trust of people over the government as well as the importance of such schemes which provide a great employment opportunity to the youngsters of the country.

Under the scheme, total 50000 vehicles are going to be distributed among the youth of Punjab and as the number of applications received for this were extremely high, so the government decided to choose the winners randomly via computerized draw in order to ensure complete fairness and transparency in the selection procedure.
