GAT 2023 NTS Registration Test Pattern Roll No Slips Results Online Answer Keys

Graduate Assessment Test (GAT) is for admissions in MS, M.Phil programme while, GAT Subject is aimed to secure admission in PhD Programme in Pakistan as well. These tests are administered by NTS (National Testing Service) of Pakistan. The results of these test will remain valid for “TWO YEARS” for admissions.

GAT general and GAT subject are the tests which are organized in order to ascertain the eligibility of students who are aimed to get admission in the university under any discipline as well.Aspirants for getting higher education have to undergo through these criteria as made by the HEC.

GAT – General:-

GAT- General usually have been categorized into four parts with respect to various disciplines as well as these are GAT- A is for Business and Engineering Students, GAT- B (Art, Humanities and Social Sciences Students) GAT C(Agricultural, Veterinary, Biological & Related Sciences Students) and in the last GAT-D( Religious Studies Students) as well accordingly.

  • This test particularly designed for only MS/M.Phil Programme.
  • Sixteen years of schooling or 4 year education (130 credit hours) after HSSC/F.A. /F.Sc/Grade 12 equivalent will be required for admission in the M.Phil/MS
  • The GAT – General conducted by the National Testing Service with a minimum 50% cumulative score will be required at the time of admission to M.Phil/M.S. The GAT – General test is valid for a period of two years.
  • Candidate intending to improve their previous GAT score can also apply.
  • The candidates will have to qualify other specified criteria of the Universities.

GAT – Subject:-

  • This Test criteria is established to synchronize those eligible aspirants who really intended to enroll in PhD programme and having their keen interest in any specialized field as well.
  • A subject test conducted by the National Testing Service (NTS) or ETS, USA in the area of specialization chosen at the PhD level must be cleared prior to admission for the
    PhD Program.
  • In the case of GAT Subject test minimum of 60% marks is required to pass the test.
  • For admission into the PhD minimum CGPA 3.0 (out of 4.0 in the Semester System) or
    First Division (in the Annual System) in M.Phil/M.S/Equivalent is required.
  • Subject Part  70%  Contains 70 questions from your subject area.
  • General Aptitude Part  30%  Contains 30 questions (15 from English and 15 from Analytical).
