PEC issues a NOC to the newly-launched engineering programs following an initial inspection. A list of such programs is available at https://pec.org.pk/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Zero-Interim-All-Zones-data-upto-106-EAB-Aug-2022.pdf PEC sends a team of professionals for necessary guidance and review of the agenda after its initial approval. Accreditation is granted during the 4th year following the graduation program following the final examination. It is the obligation of the institutions concerned to maintain the high quality of the course; failure could result in the denial of accreditation. The award of the initial approval to start the degree program doesn’t necessarily mean that students must be registered as engineers.
