Army ISSB Test Dates 2023

• 148 PMA L/C = 05 July -14 October 2023
• LCC-19 = 30 Aug -08 Sep 2023
• TCC = 05 JUL – 24 AUG 2023

Navy ISSB Test Dates 2023

• PN COURSES = 08 APR-08 MAY 2023
• PN-LCC-19 = 13-17 NOV 2023

Air Force ISSB Test Dates 2023

• PAF COURSES = 13 NOV- 17 DEC 2023
• PAF LCC-19 = 13-17 NOV 21

{Note} It is not mandatory for ISSB to re-call the candidates. If due to any genuine reason, you can not report for the tests then write an application (explaining your reason) along with proof of your absence e.g. copy of examination schedule, etc and send it to GSO-2 (Selection), ISSB Kohat Cantt by post (registered mail or TCS). We will try and adjust your ISSB tests accordingly.

5 Day Schedule of ISSB Day by day Task 

The schedule of the ISSB is as follows:

Arrival Day

• Reception
• Checking of Documents
• Allotment of ID/ Chest numbers
• Photographs
• Administration Staff’s address
• Completion of Board Questionnaires

1st Day

• Opening Address by a Deputy President
• Intelligence Tests
• Announcement of screening out result
• Remaining Psychological Tests
• (Screened out Candidates will not attend the subsequent tests

2nd Day

• Briefing
• Indoor Tasks
• Group Discussion
• Group Planning
• Outdoor Tasks
• Progressive Group Task (PGT)
• Half Group Task (HGT)
• Interviews:

3rd Day:

• Individual Obstacles
• Command Task
• Final Group Task (FGT)
• Interviews (leftovers)

4th Day

• Conferences
• Preparation of all the results
• Dispersal of candidates

After these days all candidates will return to their homes some of the candidates have re-Interviews conducts. It’s mostly chances of the final selected candidates have re-interview.

Written, Intelligence Tests. Written, Intelligence tests will be based on multiple-choice questions from English, Maths, Pak Studies, Islamiat, and General Knowledge. The candidates declared successful in written, intelligence tests will undergo physical, medical tests, and interviews at AS&RCs.

Physical Tests. The candidates must qualify the following physical standards at the time of preliminary selection:-

1. 1.6 Km Run – 8 ½ minutes
2. Push Ups – 15 repetitions in 2 minutes
3. Sit Ups – 15 repetitions in 2 minutes
4. Chin Ups – 3 repetitions in 2 minutes
5. Ditch Crossing – 7’.4” x 7’.4” with a depth of 4’

Further Selection. Candidates who are selected by AS&RCs will be called for ISSB Test. Medical examination of ISSB recommended candidates will be carried out at nearby CMHs. The final selection will be made at GHQ on the basis of the candidates’ performance.

Documents Required at AS&RCs

• Original certificate / detailed Marks Sheet of Matric/FA/FSc / Equivalent.
• One set of attested photocopies of the above-mentioned documents.
• Photocopy of Computerized National Identity Card for 18 years and above or Computerized Form “B” along with Guardian’s Computerized National Identity Card (Father or Mother) for less than 18 years old.
• 3 x Coloured photos duly attested (front and back) by Principal/Class 1 Gazetted Officer.
• Original as well as photocopy of “NOT RECOMMENDED” letter by ISSB is also required for “Repeating Candidates”.
