IUB Mphill/MS/PhD Admissions 2021 Eligibility Apply Online

In view of the changing scenario, Jamia Abbasia was declared as a general University in 1975, and was renamed as The Islamia University of Bahawalpur. Initially, it started functioning at Abbasia and Khawaja Fareed Campuses with ten Departments. In order to construct a modern and self-contained campus, 1250 acres of land was allotted to the University on Hasilpur Road about eight kilometers away from the city center.

Eligibility:-

• For Master of Philosophy(M.Phill):Master Degree(Sixteen years of education or equivalent) at least with second class in annual system or 2.50 CGPA in Semester System recognized by HEC of Pakistan.
• For Doctor of Philosophy(PhD): M.Phill/MS/MSc(Hons) or equivalent/Eighteen years of education with a minimum CGPA 3.0/4.00 along with qualifying GRE or GAT Subject test with 60% percentile.

General Instructions:-

• Hard Copy of the Online Application form is not required. Original documents along with
• 2 photocopies sets will required at the time of interview.
• Original receipt of admission processing fee Rs.700/- will be furnished at the time of
• interview/written test without which candidates will not be allowed to appear in the
• interview or written test.It will be retained by IUB for record purpose.Only GAT general
• Subjects pass applicants will appear in interview as well as in written test as will held per schedule.
