Admission to this College is done only once in a year in Class VIII/GCE ‘O’ Level. Applications are invited by the last week of October and The test is conducted in the last week of November each year. Military Cadet College Hasan Abdal is one of the only three military colleges currently operating in Pakistan and now its your chance to join this top military college as Military Cadet College Hasan Abdal has invited applications for admission in 8th class.

So all the candidates who are interested in getting admission in CCH should submit their application forms till the last announced date because the forms received after the announced date will mot be entertained. Although most part of the seats are reserved only for the sons of Amy officers but there are also 10 seats quota for civilians on open merit in each entry.

Eligibility

Conditions of eligibility for admission are as under:
Age: The candidate must not be over 14 and under 12 years of age on 1st April of the year of Entry i.e. on 1st April 2021 this time. No relaxation of age, even a single day, is permissible.
Educational Standard: The candidate must have passed Class-7 or equivalent by 1st April of the year of Entry. Those studying in Class VII currently, can apply.

Courses Offered

• Matriculation : Science Group (Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology or Computer – Rawalpindi Board)
• GCE ‘O’ Level : Science Group (Physics, Chemistry, Math & Biology – Cambridge University)

Written Test

An open competitive examination comprising three papers (Mathematics cum Intelligence Test, English cum General Awareness and Urdu cum Islamiyat) is held in the month of November every year at these centers:

Jeddah and Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Sharjah (U.A.E.), Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Karachi, Quetta.

In case it is not feasible to hold exam and interview at any of the above mentioned centers, the candidates are asked to appear at another center.

Each paper is of 1½ hours duration. Urdu-Islamiyat Paper is compulsory, and no alternative subject is allowed. The candidates from overseas countries must qualify in this paper. However, the non-Muslim candidates may leave out the Islamiyat part of the Paper. Islamiyat paper may be attempted in English as well.

The syllabi for the Admission Test are given at Appendix ‘A’ in the Prospectus. The Entrance Test for the College is a competitive examination. The syllabi given in the Prospectus are meant for the general guidance of the candidates and any question considered suitable can be set in any Paper in any form. Interviews and Medical Examination

The candidates who qualify in the Written Examination are required to appear for Interview and Medical Examination at the centers mentioned above after the announcement of result. Candidates at Riyadh and Sharjah Centers are interviewed on the next day after the written test.

Their medical examination is done at the College before joining. Only those candidates who are found medically fit are considered for the admission. Places are offered on the results of the tests/interview in the order of merit. The results are strictly confidential, and no correspondence is entertained in this connection. Successful candidates join the college in last week of April/First week of May.
