The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) has announced the Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program (TEA) through which, the secondary-level teachers of English subject from government schools will be given opportunities to develop expertise in their subject area, increase their knowledge and enhance teaching skills. The Teaching Excellence & Achievement Program will be held for 6-weeks in United States during Spring 2015 and it will be focused towards developing various skills of the participants including lesson planning skills, teaching strategies and assessment skills. Participants will also gain a 40-hour field experience at a local secondary school. In order to become eligible for the USEFP Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program, all interested candidates are required to fulfill the following eligibility criteria.

  • Applicant must be a government school teacher who is currently teaching class 8-10
  • Candidate must be a permanent resident of Pakistan
  • Minimum 5 years experience is required
  • Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Applicant must have plans to continue teaching for minimum 5 more years after participating in the program
